Incredible campsite, incredible location, incredible owners. (And they have pygmy goats you can visit!)
The large, rustic site is tucked away on a beautiful lot on a sleepy street. The pitches are flat with ample space between them. We enjoyed much needed peace, quiet and tranquility.
The facilities are very clean and you feel like you're visiting a cozy home.
If you eat eggs, you can purchase eggs laid by the resident chickens and ducks.
Christian and Vicks are delightful and have an incredibly warm, relaxed, and welcoming energy and attitude. We had a long conversation with them and they showed us the goats when we arrived late well after hours of operation.
They've created something special at their campsite.
Sadly we only passed through for one night while driving the NC 500, but we'll definitely return on our next road trip

We booked this campsite last minute as my girlfriend could not stop talking about if after seeing some photos of the goats, chicken and geese online. I am really happy we ended up there. I chatted with Christian on the phone before arriving and instantly knew we had made a good decision.
Upon arrival was greeted by the man himself. Although our encounter was brief as we were running a bit late, Christian went the whole 9 yards. He showed me around his lovely property, whist introducing me to one pigmy goats and described some activities and local areas worth seeing for the next day.
The campsite is imacuatly maintained. The grass is some of the softest in the North. Tent pegs... no problem.
The bathroom was hyper clean, and the art on the walls, along with the pictures of the animals, was epic. Loved it.
Big ups this place! Will be back with out a doubt

Site is a great mix of bohemian rustic style that is christian and some lovely female touches from his partner Vic.
Price was fair £20 for the tent for two.
You can get electricity if you need for extra money.
It’s a lovely small site that has a few animal and shows that they obviously care about the site and how they share it with their animals and you as a camper.
Sure quiet and a quick walk to a lovely inlet.
You will have a cockerel wake you up but it wasn’t too early and it just added to the whole experience for us.
Thanks Christian and Vic and I’m glad you visited Scotland for a second time :

Staying at Little Croft was such a lovely experience. It’s a very chilled little site, off the beaten track set on a small holding.
Owners, Christian & Vicky gave us a really warm welcome and introduced us to some of their animals while they showed us around.
The facilities are great - really clean and homely - indoor washing up, a shower/toilet and a toilet. As well as a snug to chill out in.
They also sell their own eggs - hen and duck (when laying permits).
The site is a short stroll down to a small pebbly beach which was stunning when we went, warm sunshine and a calm sea.
Be prepared with food and drink as you arrive as it’s a bit of a drive to the nearest amenities, pub etc.
We honestly can’t praise Little Croft highly enough, it was absolutely perfect.

what an extraordinary calm and quiet place! we spontaneously came for an overnight stop - but only after a few moments decided to make it 2 nights. please keep this site as great as it is and support this wonderful couple! friendly, everything clean and appropriate!

Little Croft is such a lovely little campsite and the owners are so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There is plenty of space and the onsite animals are wonderful and friendly. If you're heading to JOG, defo stop here. I really hope that this campsite grows and builds a great reputation, because it'll be well deserved. I look forward to seeing my suggested outdoor eating/bar area when I come back! I'll take my commission payment in beer! ;

Little Croft is such a lovely little campsite and the owners are so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There is plenty of space and the onsite animals are wonderful and friendly. If you're heading to JOG, defo stop here. I really hope that this campsite grows and builds a great reputation, because it'll be well deserved. I look forward to seeing my suggested outdoor eating/bar area when I come back! I'll take my commission payment in beer! ;

An absolutely fantastic little site, it’s a small and independent site so it makes a very intimate atmosphere.
Christian and Vic are absolutely amazing and can’t do enough to accommodate you. The facilities are wonderful, fresh and clean with a supply of toiletries if you’ve run out.
It’s a bit out of the way but a great spot if you’re doing NC500.
Cannot recommend enough! Especially the Goats, Ducks and Chickens

We were lucky enough to stop at Little Croft whilst doing the NC500 , a fantastic little gem off the beaten track and well worth a visit. Tremendous atmosphere around the site and made to feel very welcome by Christian on arrival and throughout our overnight stay. Hamish (our Labrador) also had a great time making new goat , duck and hen friends

The sunsets/sunrises are the best you'll see in the UK!!!! Well deff book ahead next time we go up because this place will be saught after!!!... Ps to the owners!

Small campsite with hard-standing gravel and grass pitches. Christian was super nice and accommodating, sadly the goats weren't out because of the weather! However, you will get greeted by the chickens when walking to the facilities! :)
The facilities are warm, nice and modern, with a little kitchenette, eggs from the hens and a chilling area. Showers were clean but there is only one of them. This was already a problem with the campsite being not even half-full.
But the sea being a 5 min walk from the campsite makes up for it. I saw lots of seals there as well

Thank you guys.

Landelijk. Sanitair schoon. Twee toiletten, twee wasbakken en een douche. In principe ruim voldoende. In totaal 5 campers/caravans. Faciliteiten waren voldoende.
